This article has information about the new Special Enrollment Period for 2026 Temporary Premium Assistance that ends on June 30, 2026. If you don't have a Qualifying Life Event, you must call us to see if you qualify for 2026 Temporary Premium Assistance.
Step 1: Determine your eligibility for additional financial help
There is additional financial help to lower the cost of health coverage through Access Health CT for eligible Connecticut residents. This help replaces some or all of the federal enhanced premium tax credits which expired at the end of 2025.
Households with an annual income at 100% and up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and who are not enrolled in the Covered CT Program will be eligible for Temporary Premium Assistance for the difference between APTC amounts and the expired tax credits replaced. Households with an annual income over 400% and up to 500% FPL will be eligible for Temporary Premium Assistance for 50% of the expired tax credit amount.
Use the information below to help determine if you are eligible for this financial help.
